Found Objects Projects

A few summers ago my daughter Bronwyn and I decided to have a found object jewelry challenge. Every time we took a walk, we would look for random items that were just lying in the street, ditches, etc. Anything that we thought had artistic possibilities was brought home and used. We found so much that we did not get to complete the challenge before school started. Included here are photos of just a few of the items we found and the creations that came from them.

The mermaid trading card was created at the family cottage in Canada, during another summer break, where we used the same found object principles.
